Description: The 10-day Combined Tour along Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will familiarize you with rich culture, numerous sights and every-day life and traditions of two neighboring states of Central Asia at once. You will see the specifics of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan get to know where they are identical, and where different. The first part of your 10-day tour will start from Uzbekistan’s ancient cities: Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand, once being prosperous centers of trade on the Great Silk Road. There, you will visit undermentioned well-known tourist places, admire the beauty of old-time architectural monuments, visit famous oriental bazaars and enjoy Uzbek hospitality and cordiality all over Uzbekistan. In the second part of the tour you will have a trip to Kyrgyzstan, called by travelers as early as the antiquity - the Country of Blue Heavens. In the course of the exciting program you will visit the worlds’ second largest salt Issyk-Kul Lake, whose water does not freeze even in winter, though it is located at the height of 1,609 m and surrounded with snowy mountain peaks.

ITINERARY

01

Arrive Tashkent – Sightseeing tour 
Arrive in Tashkent. You will be met by our driver and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel at noon. In the afternoon meet your guide and driver and start sightseeing capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex and Chorsu bazaar, continue to center of Tashkent with Amir Timur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum. 
Overnight at the hotel.

Tashkent – Bukhara 
Transfer to local airport in Tashkent. Morning flight to Bukhara. Upon arrival you are met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Leave your luggage at the hotel. Check in at noon. Take a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in historic center of Bukhara which has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Sightseeing starts at Lyabi Hauz Complex and continue to Magoki-Attori mosque, trade domes, madrasah of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, Kalyan ensemble, legendary Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz mosque, Samani dynasty Mausoleum. Enjoy free time in Old City. Along the “old city” you in Bukhara you will meet Uzbek handscrafts in every corner , you may have a talk about masters’ works and watch their daily experience.

Bukhara - Samarkand 
Breakfast. In the morning depart Bukhara and drive to Samarkand. On the way to Samarkand you will see and enjoy watching Uzbek villages and houses. According to your wish you can have a stop and learn the life in the villages talking to local people. Arrive in Samarkand, check in to the hotel. Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi-Khanum mosque, Ulugbek observatory, Shakhi-Zinda necropolis and Gur-Emir Mausoleum, authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Dinner. We’d like to mention that in Samarkand you can see Uzbek handscrafts every where along the City. Take part in handcrafters master classes.

Samarkand - Tashkent 
Meet with your guide and driver at hotel lobby and drive to mausoleum of Muslim scholar Imam Al Bukhari – the author of second holy book Hadis after Qoran in Islam (25 km, 30 min). Being a pilgrimage place for Muslims, Al-Bukhari complex (situated in the Village “Chelak) is also famous for its modern mosque built in 1998. There you visit Uzbek village houses and make Uzbek national meals with local village people and have Lunch with them. drive to Tashkent at 16:00, 19:00 – Arrive in Tashkent.

Tashkent - Bishkek 
Transfer to the airport, flight to Bishkek. Arrive Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. This entire day is dedicated to a guided tour of Bishkek. It includes visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the History Museum, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. But no tour of Bishkek is complete without visiting our Asian Bazaar! We will show it to you today and you will be able to take a lot of dynamic photos of bustling local life. This bazaar is a noisy and colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. 
You will spend the night in a guesthouse.

Bishkek - Son-Kul 
After breakfast we start our drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, Son Kul Lake. You will have lunch on route. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads have come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. On the journey we will drive over Tue Ashu Pass which is 3586 meters above sea level. Dinner and overnight will be spent in nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. They are made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Yurts are built without nails.

Son-Kul 
Today we will walk and meet real nomads. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. All nomads are very hospitable. They will always invite you inside their yurts to drink tea with them. They are not used to seeing many tourists and are always happy to speak with you. Hospitality is one of the main laws among nomads. The used to say: “Guest is sent by God”. So they cannot just let you pass without having a rest with them. A traditional dinner will be served in original nomadic houses - yurts. 
You will get to spend the night in yurts as nomads do.

Son-Kul - Issyk-Kul 
In the morning you will be transferred to Kochkor village. The road will go along amazing gorge and you will drive today over Kalmak Ashu pass that is 3 225 meters high. In Kochkor village you will spend some time with a family that will show you the way our national felt carpets are produced. Also you will visit a small handicraft museum there. Afterwards you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". You can come up to the lake and to see mountains all around it. Your dinner will be in a local restaurant. 
Night is in a guesthouse.

Issyk-Kul - Bishkek 
In the morning you will be transferred to Bishkek city. On the way, we will make a short break to give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.). Today we will visit Burana Tower. It is a minaret from the 11th century. Burana Tower was used during the Great Silk Road as a sign for travelers that there was a city to have a rest. Nearby you will see an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After an interesting excursion and climbing to the top of the tower you will transfer to the Kyrgz capital. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. 
Night is in a hotel.
